CHRIS KAMARA will be the special guest of an "unbelievable" evening hosted by Wetherby Athletic FC on Friday, February 12.
The former Leeds United and Bradford City man, now best known for his exploits on Sky Sports News, will talk about his lengthy playing career and his current role as a pundit.
After spells at Portsmouth, Swindon, Brentford and Stoke, Kamara, arrived at Leeds in 1990 and after a year at Elland Road went on to play for Luton, Sheffield United and home-town club Middlesbrough before finishing his career with the Bantams in 1995, racking up more than 600 appearances in the process.
The defender returned to Bradford as manager and wrote himself into the club's folklore by winning promotion to the old Division One in 1996.
Tickets for the night are priced at £20 and include a supper, with doors opening at 7.30 for an 8pm start.
Book tickets from the Wetherby Sports Association on 01937 585699. A smart casual dress code will apply.
