NEIL Aspin's Harrogate Town kick-off their pre-season campaign tonight when they welcome Peter Taylor's Lincoln City to Wetherby Road (7pm kick-off).
It will be the first chance for Town’s fans to take a look at Aspin’s new-look squad, the gaffer strengthening the side with another signing last weekend.

Matty Young who was on trial at the club has agreed to sign on the dotted line.

The 22-year-old former Huddersfield Town man can play anywhere in the midfield and could make his full Town debut tonight.

He joins Jim Provett, Justin Whittle, Jamie Smith, Ryan Toulson and Nicky Gray who have also decided to make the switch to Town.

Meanwhile Harrogate Town have been drawn at home against Blue Square North newcomers Fleetwood Town in the First Round of the Setanta Shield.

The fixture is scheduled for the week commencing Monday September 8.

There has also been an additional pre-season friendly arranged for August 5 when Aspin takes his side to South Yorkshire outfit Stocksbridge Park Steels.
