HARROGATE Town continue pre-season on Tuesday night when Gateshead arrive at the CNG Stadium.
Town boss Simon Weaver predicted last week that the Blue Square Premier side will provide a sterner test for his new-look troops, who got pre-season off to a great start with a 4-2 win over Scunthorpe last week.

It'll be a big step up for us and I'm keen to see how we deal with greater pressure," said Weaver.

"It should be a good game to watch, and to see the progress of certain players.

"All the trialists did well against Scunthorpe, but I've got to cut it down to an 18-man squad and games against sides like Gateshead will show who's staking a claim to make that squad."

Kick-off at Wetherby Road is at 7.30pm.
