HARROGATE were thumped by nine wickets against Sheffield Collegiate, centurion Nick Gray (105) setting Collegiate on the path to success.
'Gate had posted 195 batting first, but Sheffield cruised by through Gray and Israh Asif (64).

In the Aire Wharfe League, BECKWITHSHAW were beaten by the same margin against North Leeds, and there were also defeats in the top flight for COLLINGHAM and BILTON who drop into the relegation places.

KNARESBOROUGH stay on track for promotion after a win over Steeton, Adam Pryor (75) and Dale Tormey (59) firing 'Boro' to 235-7 before Mike Baxandall bagged 5-28.

BARDSEY were beaten by FOLLIFOOT.

In the York Senior League, THIRSK legend Barry Petty snared a stunning 8-33 to become only the League's third bowler ever to claim eight eight wicket hauls.

His latest effort saw Thirsk beat Hull Zingari by 134 runs.

Elsewhere RIPON'S Richard Hooks produced a career-best 9-48 to see his side beat Clifton Alliance by 48 runs.

In the Wetherby League, SPOFFORTH require two more points to clinch the First Division title for a 13th time.

Simon Old's men beat WETHERBY by five wickets on Saturday.

Sunday's Fred Fleetwood Cup final was rearranged for August 31, after heavy rain postponed the game.
