HARROGATE Railway have a busy pre-season schedule to get their teeth into before the start of the newly named Evo-Stik First Division North campaign in earnest.
New boss Nige Danby and his side start on July 22 with an away trip to Yorkshire Amateurs before a tasty Yorkshire derby against Scarborough Athletic at Station View on July 31.
Next comes the John Smith’s Cup clash against Harrogate Town at the C
NG Stadium on Tuesday August 3.
They’ll finish their non competitive schedule on August 7 at home to Stocksbribge Park Steels.
Meanwhile pre-season Training starts on Thursday August 1, 7.30pm at Station View, all players old and new are welcome.

New boss Danby has replaced Phil Sharpe who left the club at the end of last season. He’s made his former assistant at AFC Goole Mick Norbury as his number two.
Rail’ legend Steve Davey also returns as coach.
On the playing front last seasons captain Liam Gray remains, along with local lads Danny Thirkell and Paul Stansfield.
Also back for the new campaign are Kevin Ryan, James Mann, Dan Verity, Steve Palfrey with others poised to agree once back from Holidays.
New Recruits already confirmed are goal sensation Duncan Bray from AFC Emley, Luke Jeffs, former Scarborough striker Chris Tate and Dean Lackie.
Danby is also chasing former Barnsley, Sheffield United, Wigan Athletic, Oldham Athletic and Rotherham United Midfielder Andy Liddle.
The new Rail’ boss is also committed to promoting the local young talent coming through the Reserves and Under 19 Teams.
Railway Junior sides enjoyed their best haul of honours this season with the Under 16s 17s and 18s doing exceptionally well.
