BECKWITHSHAW captain Charlie Lister is desperate to "kick-start" their season back into action after a run of five games without a win in the league.
‘Shaw have slipped down to fourth in the league table, seven points off leaders Guiseley, after losing their commanding position at the top of the Division One ladder.
Next for Lister’s men is the trip to Waddilove semi-finalists Otley (1.30pm start), a side battling for their place in the top flight after a poor start to the campaign.
“Obviously we need to kick-start our season with a victory sooner rather than later,” said Lister.
“But looking at it if we string a few wins together we’ll still be in the mixer. But we improved last week, we bowled a lot better and it was just in the last 15 overs we lost the game.
“We’ve got Otley and of course we’ll be looking to build on last week’s performance in all areas.”
On Saturday ‘Shaw started their rain-affected contest against Rawdon at 4pm, restricting their fellow title chasers to 157-6.
