Pupils of the Lynne Unitt School of Dance gathered at Ripon Leisure Centre to be presented with their prizes by the city's Mayor and Deputy Mayor – Couns David Parnaby and Sylvia Brierley – after they achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in recent exams run by the International Dance Teachers Association.

As well as the presentation of prizes, the evening also included dance pieces featuring tap, ballet and hoedown styles, and raffle and programme sales raised £150 towards the school's costume fund.
