KNARESBOROUGH Art Club would like to hear from anyone interested in joining.
Although any age group would be welcome, younger recruits would be particularly appreciated. Many of the existing members only started in art later in lif, says the club, and enjoy it so much that they wish they had done so earlier.

The club meets at the United Reformed Church Hall on Windsor Lane, Knaresborough at 7pm every Tuesday.

Activities include oil painting, water colour, pastels, acrylics, coloured pencils etc and abilities range from beginners to the more experienced.

There are regular demonstrations and occasional workshops from well known professional artists. Although the winter programme is indoors for obvious reasons, the summer programme involves outdoor painting at various locations.

Members work is exhibited annually at the club exhibition in the summer but many members also exhibit at other venues.

If you are interested and would like to talk about joining, either come along on a Tuesday evening or ring David Harrison on 01423 867491.
