War heroes saluted tomorrow

TOMORROW's (Sat) Remembrance Parade sets off at 10.30pm from Albert Street for the service at Harrogate's war memorial at 10.50pm. There will be a Remembrance Service at St Peter's Church at 11.20pm
The service at the Commonwealth War graves at Stonefall cemetery is at 12.30pm and Starbeck holds its own Service of Remembrance at 3pm.

On Remembrance Day, on Wednesday, Harrogate Council staff will stand outside the Council Offices in Crescent Gardens to hold a two-minute silence at 11am.

The traditional maroon will be fired from the building to announce the start of the two- minute silence across the town.
